Meet Our New Team Members

The staff at City Owl Press are thrilled to introduce you to our newest team members, Associate Editors, Heather McCorkle and Tee Tate! These intelligent and capable ladies add to our owls in the best possible way. We are beyond excited to have them join us. Together Heather and Tee co-founded the #WritersRoad chat on Twitter, and bring years of experience to the table.
HEATHER McCORKLE received an Intermediate Certificate in Criminology at Clackamas Community College and is studying for her BEA at Central Oregon Community College. She was an acquiring editor for Compass Press and has since been a freelance editor under McCorkle Creations. She is also a graphic designer, freelance editor, and author with several books that have landed on the bestseller lists. Heather comes to us with over four years in the publishing industry, and over twenty years of writing and editing experience. Having worked for Compass Press, Promontory Press, and independent authors, she brings a well rounded and fresh outlook tempered with experience. Heather has a deep love of all things fantasy and sci-fi with a heavy dose of romance mixed in.

TS (TEE) TATE received a Master of Arts in English from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008. She has studied under Edgar nominee Tim Gautreaux, Book Sense Pick novelist Bev Marshall and World Fantasy nominee and Clarion West graduate Cat Rambo. Currently, Tee is the Editor-in-Chief at LitStack.com and has previously edited for KA Tucker, Scott Wilbanks, Phoebe North, and RITA award winner, Carolyn Crane. Tee is currently working on several creative projects, including her fifth novel and various short stories. Her flash fiction, “Street Noises,” was included in the Pill Hill Press anthology “Daily Frights 2012” and her short fiction “Til Hunt Be Done” was published in Compass Press' “Winter Wonders” anthology. Tee has published seven bestselling romance novels as Eden Butler, all of which have been favorably reviewed in USA Today. You can find Tee on her website www.teetate.com
