TINA MOSS, co-founder of City Owl Press, is an award-winning author and business professional with a near decade of experience in the publishing industry. Starting in 2006, she began her career penning narrative fiction shorts for women’s magazines. Since then, she’s written several novels in popular, mass market genres. Earning a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Brooklyn College, she shares her love of books by working in academia and focusing on teaching the next generation of literati. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology. With extensive design, business acumen, and editing expertise, she brings a critical eye to all aspects of book production. Mary Cain, Associate Editor
MARY CAIN holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. Since 2008, she has been a self-employed seamstress. In 2010 she began writing a contemporary romance series. After many years of critiquing for other writers, Mary began work as a freelance developmental editor and eventually joined the City Owl Press team. She seeks all subgenres of romance, with contemporary romance at the top of her wishlist. Mary loves unexpected characters with unusual goals and/or conflicts. All levels of heat are welcome. While Mary is eager to see diverse characters and new ideas, the plot must focus primarily on the developing love story between two people and deliver an emotionally satisfying resolution (Happily Ever After). AMANDA ROBERTS has had a lifelong love of reading and writing and was first published when she was in only second grade. She earned her Master's degree in English from the University of Central Missouri and has lived in and written about China since 2010. She is the author of the Crazy Dumplings series of cookbooks and the historical novel Threads of Silk. She has been teaching college writing classes since 2007, has been a newspaper editor since 2013, and a book editor since 2014. She is always on the lookout for books with complicated female protagonists. She loves Gothic novels and historical fiction. MELISSA HOLLINGSWORTH has been writing since childhood and editing for almost as long. She has a bachelor's degree in English from Ohio University and almost has a master's in library science from Kent State. She previously edited for the now-defunct Clotho Press and also has five years of experience as a freelance editor. She enjoys most kinds of fiction, and has a particular fondness for urban fantasy, psychological suspense, and anything with clever plot twists.

THOMAS CASALE has planned high impact events from concept and creative development to execution for major clients. These events included the 2006 World Karate Championship in New York City, and the 2012 World Karate Championship in Cancun, Mexico. He is a 7th Degree Black Belt Master Instructor of Shotokan Karate, a professional member of the American College of Sports Medicine, and the President of the Japan Shotokan Karate Association in the United States. In 2015, he accepted the honorary position of Director of Youth Engagement for the American Cancer Society. He is the author of over 100 magazine articles, and has been featured in numerous books and videos. As a public speaker and international instructor, his clients include universities, organizations, police and military personnel. He frequently gives presentations to corporations and community groups on the topics of motivation, training, marketing, and personal safety. Recognized as an award-winning teacher, public relations expert, event planner, and entrepreneur, he brings a vast amount of energy, drive, passion, and highly disciplined operational expertise to the City Owl Press team.

SARAH HERSHMAN graduated from Mount Holyoke College and immediately began working for Tantor Media (now an imprint of Record Books)- a leading audiobook company located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with production of over a thousand quality audio titles annually. At Tantor, Sarah worked in the Acquisitions Department as a Senior Acquisitions Editor. Her focus was to seek and acquire audio rights from publishers, literary agents, or self-published authors to be produced into audio. As part of her daily duties, Sarah executed the entire negotiation between the publisher, agent, or author and Tantor. This gave her a vast amount of knowledge about the publishing process, subsidiary rights negotiations, and how to work with professionals within the publishing industry. Throughout her time at Tantor, Sarah selected and acquired rights for hundreds of titles to be produced into audio, some of which became award winning titles. Sarah found that she enjoyed working closely with authors and helping them successfully exercise their audio rights. In order to be able to work closer with more authors and publishers to maximize the usage of their subsidiary rights, Sarah founded Hershman Rights Management (HRM).
